FCC Construcción will participate in Madrid Robotics Digital Innovation Hub (RoboCity2030)
Madrid Robotics Digital Innovation Hub (RoboCity2030) will organize the conference on "Intelligent Robotics in Construction Industry". The General Director of Research and Technological Innovation of the Community of Madrid, Ana Cremades, will inaugurate this event.
FCC Construcción will participate by presenting the PWDRON National R&D&I project "AUTOMATICIZED MONITORING SYSTEM OF INFRASTRUCTURES IN LINEAR CIVIL WORKS BASED ON DRONES". Project that has been carried out by the consortium companies FCC Construcción, Hovering Solutions and IDP Engineering and that has been financed by the Industrial Technological Development Center (CDTI), whose objective is the development of a system centralized automated execution tracking infrastructures in linear civil works (highways, dual carriageways, highways, connections, railway lines and stations, performances of movements of land in large volumes, stability of slopes and networks of channeling) based on drones with technological benefits advanced, specifically developed within the framework of the project, as well as in a new technological exchange platform,
data processing and distribution.
- For the PWDRON field tests, a vehicle was developed industrial grade, adaptable to all civil works scenarios linear, which will enable automated data acquisition.
- The drone automatically captures the associated point cloud to the project and links it to a model generator tool 3D, thus allowing the implementation of the BIM methodology and the integration with GIS technology (GeoBIM model).
- The assembly of the automation of data collection is carried out, processing it as a digital model and obtaining results applicable to the requirements of civil works in each one of the stages of the construction process.
