FCC Construcción participates in a meeting with the Spanish Ministry of Industry and Tourism in Saudi Arabia. The aim of the meeting is to analyse economic developments and growth opportunities in the country.

FCC Construcción has been developing projects in Saudi Arabia for more than 15 years. Projects such as lines 4, 5 and 6, designed and built by the FAST consortium (led by FCC).

The Riyadh Metro is the largest construction project ever undertaken by a Spanish company worldwide. It covers 176 kilometres across a total of 6 lines, 85 stations and 7 workshops and depots, representing one of the largest urban transport infrastructure projects ever undertaken in the world.

As a key player in the project, FCC has led the design and construction of three metro lines, with a total of 29 stations, more than 70 kilometres of track, 24 viaducts, 28 underground tracks and 13 surface tracks. As the backbone of the city's public transport system, the Riyadh Metro stands as a key milestone in Saudi Arabia's ambitious plans to improve mobility and enhance the quality of life for all.

FCC Construcción reaffirms its commitment to the country and to the innovative infrastructure projects being developed there.
