FCC Construcción has participated in Autodesk Railway Summit Madrid 2025, Europe's largest railway and innovation forum. The event brings together more than 500 people, leaders from railway operators, administrations, engineering firms and contractors, with whom it shares experiences on the design, construction and operation of railway infrastructure using digital technologies. The forum addresses opportunities and challenges of digitalisation in the railway sector, including BIM, cloud collaboration, BIM-GIS integration, interoperability standards and digital twins.

One of the main objectives of the Summit is to accelerate digital transformation by connecting people, data and processes in a common environment to improve decision-making throughout the asset lifecycle. Sessions with experts and real-life case studies allow for the sharing of methodologies and lessons learned, reducing project risks and gaining operational efficiency.

The event promotes collaboration through the use of standards such as ISO 19650 and open workflows between owners, designers and contractors. It also explores emerging technologies applied to the sector: automation, data analysis and digital twins with a practical, results-oriented approach.
