FCC Construcción participates in the presentation, at the CEOE, of the 1st Congress on Innovation in Construction, Building, Infrastructure and Concessions (IC2), a new international meeting point for innovation in construction.

The congress is the result of collaboration between three key players in the Spanish construction sector: the Spanish Construction Technology Platform (PTEC), the University of Cantabria —through its School of Civil Engineering— and the Construction Cluster Network. This alliance combines business, academic knowledge and industry, creating an event with a strong technical, scientific and strategic focus.

Leading companies, universities, technology centres and international experts will come together in this environment to discuss the major drivers of transformation in the sector: digitalisation, sustainability, industrialisation, energy efficiency, resilient infrastructure and new concession and management models.

In its first edition, IC2 will also feature Chile as the Guest Country, a clear commitment to strengthening ties with Latin America and promoting academic and business cooperation in a context of shared global challenges.

IC2 is intended as a platform to promote knowledge transfer, generate opportunities for collaboration and raise the profile of the Spanish construction sector's innovative capacity on the international stage. 

FCC Construcción will actively participate with proposals that provide real solutions to the challenges facing the sector. The main topics include: digitalisation, sustainability, industrialisation and automation, new management models, advanced materials and infrastructure of the future.
