FCC Construcción presents the 0ACCIDNTES project

FCC Construcción has presented the R&D&i project 0ACCIDNTES (RESEARCH INTO NEW TECHNOLOGIES FOR SAFETY AND HEALTH IN CONSTRUCTION WITH “0 ACCIDENTS”) at the conference on R&D Projects in the Construction Sector at the National Level held at the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) and organized by the Spanish Construction Technology Platform (PTEC), CSIC and the State Research Agency of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.

The conference addressed topics such as innovation strategy in the sector, aid to finance R&D&i and strategic projects. A round table was also organized to share experiences, identify barriers and highlight success stories in R&D&I.

The objective of the 0ACCIDNTES project is to develop a comprehensive cognitive ecosystem for the real-time monitoring and prediction of dangerous situations for the safety and health of construction workers, by carrying out research that allows the collection, interpretation, digitalization and intelligent and automatic management of information generated in different construction environments, which will be based on state-of-the-art sensors, autonomous robotic systems, cyber-secure connectivity ecosystems and various elements of artificial intelligence.
