FCC Construcción was featured on RTVE's ‘Aquí hay trabajo’ programme, which analysed accident rates in the construction sector.

One of the premises of the FCC Group's construction division is to carry out its activities with the highest level of safety and a permanent commitment to health and safety at work, as expressed in its policy and other important aspects included therein:

1. Compliance with current legislation in this area, as well as with the internal regulations established in the Health and Safety System.
2. Promoting the effective integration of health and safety in all company activities and at all hierarchical levels, implementing actions aimed at maintaining safe working conditions.
3. Promoting healthy working environments and healthy habits among workers, both at work and outside work, as this is one of the Organisation's core values: caring for people's health.
4. Involving all stakeholders (our workers, customers and subcontractors) by making them part of our preventive culture.
5. The company has a prevention organisation made up of technicians specialised in this field in all countries to serve all construction sites and work centres, coordinated from central services. This Management System stems from FCC Construcción's Policy and compliance with national and international legal requirements, and in all cases with the most demanding international standards.
