FCC Construcción was featured in edition 670 of the magazine Fomento, edited and published by the Ministry of Development.

FCC Construcción, featured in the March edition of the magazine Fomento

FCC Construcción finalised the boring of the Bolaños (Orense) tunnel last December. The project involved building two parallel single track tunnels for the Madrid – Galicia high speed line, each 6.7 kilometres long.

FCC Construcción has built more than 99 kilometres on the Atlantic axis line, undertaking such special projects as the Bolaños tunnel and the 8.5 kilometres long Vigo - Das Maceiras tunnel.

The project was chosen last January in the “International Project of the Year” and “Award for Technical Excellence” categories in the prestigious Ground Engineering Awards 2017.

FCC has built more than 700 kilometres of high speed line with more than 550 kilometres of tunnels built.
