The construction area of the FCC Group has been the protagonist, together with other companies, in a report on the digitalization of El Confidencial.

FCC Construcción is a pioneer in innovation, research within the construction industry both inside and outside of Spain. Decades ago, FCC Construcción bet the Blockchain in the value chain of its sector, thus promoting an active policy of technological development. With a clear commitment to R & D & I as an added value and differentiating factor. In this way, FCC is developing the Bimcheck project that allows all the processes of its work in the construction sector to be controlled and traced digitally.

The main objective of the project is to improve the productivity of FCC Construcción through the automation of the processes of control and quality management of projects and works under the BIM methodology through the incorporation of the emerging technology known as Blockchain.

BIMCHECK is a project that makes FCC Construcción position as a pioneer construction company worldwide to bring the combination of the BIM methodology and Blockchain to a project.
