FCC Construcción publishes the report entitled “Collaboration between construction sites and departments in the 2025 Certification of Innovation Initiatives”
Each year, the R&D department coordinates the certification process for innovative initiatives carried out at the various operational centres, once they have been completed. This process is made possible by the voluntary collaboration of the teams involved in each project, whose participation is essential to achieving the results obtained.
The certification of R&D&I activities brings significant benefits to FCC Construcción, including:
- A benchmark in tendering: it provides certified projects that offer added value in tenders, particularly in public sector tenders where innovation is specifically assessed.
- Tax advantages: this enables the company to claim corporate tax deductions for R&D&I activities.
- Strengthening of the Innovation Management System (ISO 56001): this expands the scope of activities covered by our certified system, consolidating the company’s position as an innovator.
During the 2025 financial year, the following certifications were completed: Design and development of a unified platform for coding and traceability of the project cycle; research into low-carbon concrete through alkaline activation of waste; and competitive improvement of the integrated business management system process through low-code development.
