The construction area of the FCC Group publishes the third best practice of occupational health and safety: "Installation of specific lockers for emergency EPIS (Personal Protection Equipment)", at the Villena Thermosolar Plant (Alicante).

It was observed that the Individual Protection Teams for emergencies, firefighter suits, aluminized suits, autonomous breathing equipment, stretcher, etc., that are located in the extinguishing vehicle suffer a deterioration due to exposure to temperatures and water leaks in the rear cabinet of the vehicle.

The solution adopted to facilitate the conservation and use of the equipment installed some lockers in the pump room of the PCI. In front of this building, the extinguishing vehicle is parked continuously.

In these lockers there is enough room and environmental conditions that facilitate the maintenance and use of these equipment by the intervention team.
