FCC Construcción receives the BIM certificate from AENOR

AENOR has granted FCC Construcción the BIM management system certificate according to the UNE-EN ISO 19650-1 and UNE-EN ISO 19650-2 standards. The scope of this certificate covers the management of information when using BIM for the function of main contractor in the area of construction, civil works and the BIM specialties of Coordinator, Modeler and Consultant. In other words, FCC Construcción has implemented a comprehensive information management system that complies with the standards for the design and construction phases of projects carried out using BIM.

BIM is a work methodology for the creation and management of a project that, in a collaborative way, centralizes all the information generated by all the agents that participate in the life cycle of an asset. For the granting of the certification to FCC Construcción, the AENOR audit team has assessed that the organization has implemented and integrated into its global management system all the requirements established by the UNE-EN ISO 19650 family of standards in its global management system. areas of construction and civil works.

Obtaining this certification once again demonstrates the company's clear commitment to innovation and to the implementation of pioneering technological solutions, which enable processes and activities to be improved, making them even more, if possible, efficient and effective in achieving corporate goals.
