The FCC Group construction area completely restores the roadway of the old toll of San Juan (Alicante), on the AP7.

The works, carried out by FCC Construcción, have consisted of dismantling toll beaches, both civil works and facilities, and the construction of the two new roads that allow traffic flow in the same safety conditions. than the rest of the highway.

The elimination of these beaches and the rest of the section comes after the decision not to continue charging tolls on this highway at the end of the concession contract that expired on December 31.

These works are contained in the emergency contract signed between Matinsa and the Ministry  in the Valencian Community, by which the infrastructure company of the FCC group must also carry out roadside assistance and ordinary maintenance services. between kilometer points 532 + 000 and 678 + 950 of the AP-7 in the provinces of Valencia and Alicante.

The contract, which has an amount of 14,853,448, 12 euros, began on January 1, 2020 and will end on July 31 of the same year.
