The initiative challenges us to uphold 1 million commitments for the climate in the run up to the 2015 Climate Change Conference in Paris, COP21 (Conference of the Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change), in which governments must approve an agreement that will establish a new regime fighting against climate change.

We have committed to:

• Implementing environmental Best Practices on site which would involve an annual 5% reduction of the total amount of quantified greenhouse gas emissions for the same period, using 2011 as the target year. These emissions, which can be reduced by carrying out a set of actions targeted on site, are recorded, quantified, registered in annual emission reports for the company and checked by an accredited external body.

• Publicising the campaign and commitments obtained from our interest groups using communication channels and company publications.
