FCC Construcción has joined the campaign of the Spanish Network of the Global Compact #initiativeswithprinciples. The campaign is based on the use of the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact as a tool for the corporate response to the pandemic.

As good practice, the different preventive safety and health measures implemented in the different projects that the company develops have been exposed.

In general, the different measures established have been exposed: campaigns, activities and talks have been implemented for all company collaborators and their contractors, in order to report the current situation in each of the countries with respect to infections, signs and symptoms presented by infected personnel, protocols for attention in case of infections, use of masks, as well as an awareness of the need for handwashing, this being one of the most effective measures to stop the spread of said virus.

Among the different general measures, the following stand out:

• Dissemination of internal communications announcing prevention measures for the Covid - 19 virus.
• Installation of sinks in offices, and reinforcement of sinks in portable toilets.
• Installation of prevention information sheets on the proper and correct hand washing at all hygiene points.
• In different projects, training has been carried out by health workers on symptoms of covid-19, precautions, what to do in case of infection, preventive measures and preventive isolation measures.
• Personal disinfection products were distributed in different projects in order to promote and guarantee clean and safe environments.
• Infrared thermometers were purchased in different projects. Daily temperature measurements are carried out on all workers before the start of the activity as well as at the end
