FCC Construcción has joined the SDG Ambition accelerator program. The latest UN Global Compact Progress Report reveals that only 39% of surveyed companies believe they have ambitious enough targets to meet the SDGs by 2030, and less than a third believe their sector is moving fast enough to meet the SDGs. priority. While 84% of companies surveyed are taking action on the SDGs, only 46% are integrating it into their business, and 37% are designing business models that contribute to the SDGs.

In our attempt to recover from COVID-19, we faced a decision: to return to the world we knew, or to resolve with determination the problems that make us vulnerable to future crises.

For this reason, UN Global Compact, in collaboration with the Local Networks, launches “SDG Ambition”, a six-month accelerator program that aims to support Global Compact member companies to set ambitious business goals and accelerate the integration of the SDGs in the management of your business activities.

The program is free and exclusive for Global Compact member companies. This program consists of 6 workshops made up of experts, supported by some of our most pioneering partner companies and adapted to the national context, with the aim of helping companies establish, manage and monitor ambitious goals in SDGs. In addition, with this program you will learn to:

• Strategically prioritize actions that will accelerate your company's contribution to the 2030 Agenda.
• Set ambitious goals based on a referential baseline that today may seem aspirational, but are essential to lead the transformation of economies and societies.
• Connect goals and business results related to the SDGs in the management of the company, to substantially accelerate the contribution to the SDGs.
