FCC Construcción has sponsored and participated in the VIII National Congress of the Technical Association of Ports and Coasts (ATPYC), held in Cartagena. It is a reference event for the port and coastal sector.

The claim of this edition has been "Innovation and New Technologies", a field that is very current and that is marking, and will continue to do so with more force in the coming years, the development of society as a whole, and of which in the port sector takes on a special role. The congress analyzed new materials, design criteria, construction processes, sustainability and the environment, information management, application of new technologies, etc.
A reflection was made about the aspects and challenges that the port and coastal technique will have to face in the coming years, seeing them as an opportunity and never as a threat.

FCC Construcción contributed knowledge and added value to the planning, design, construction of the infrastructures executed by the company, exposing new ways of working.
