FCC Construcción wins the construction contract for the A-73 highway

FCC Construcción has won the construction contract for the A-73 Burgos-Santander highway. This is a project that has an award amount of more than 89 million euros and will link the cities of Burgos and Santander.

The Burgos - Aguilar de Campoo highway, known as A-73, is currently 22.2 kilometers long and, after the works, will reach a length of 74 kilometers. FCC Construcción will carry out an 11.55-kilometre stretch, linking Quintanaortuño with Montorio. The particularity of the project is the junction with the Burgos - Santander - Asturias Gas Pipeline, which will run to the left of the future dual carriageway.

FCC Construcción has recently been awarded the construction contract for the A-16 highway in Baix Llobregat for 54.4 million.
