FCC Construcción has won the contract to build Madrid City Council's new corporate headquarters, located in the former Legazpi Fruit and Vegetable Market (Madrid), which will house 2,500 municipal workers from the Municipal Tax Agency, the Urban Planning, Environment and Mobility Department and various other municipal areas. 

The project has a budget of more than 77 million euros and a completion period of 30 months. The concrete structure of the building will be respected, as it is a protected element, while the rest of the finishes will be carried out in accordance with the opinions of the Heritage Commission and with the aesthetics of the building itself and its surroundings.
