FCC Construcción wins the protection contract for the foundations of the Botafoc dam (Ibiza). The project has an amount of more than 12 million euros and an execution period of 28 months.

The Es Botafoc dam, which was inaugurated in April 2003, has its foundations protected with concrete blocks weighing between three and five tons. Over the years, some of these elements have moved, and monitoring work on the condition of the jetty detected significant damage to the start of the structure. The project is based on the relocation of protection blocks of greater volume than the current ones, between five and ten tons each. These elements will be built on the floating docks of FCC Construcción.
