FCC Construcción and the Madrid City Council have installed an informative newsletter on the “Bosque Metropolitano” project. The iconic element installed will allow citizens to know the importance and magnitude of the project, which will undoubtedly improve their quality of life.
FCC Construcción is deeply involved in the development of the Bosque Metropolitano, the 75-kilometre forest ring that will border the city. Currently, FCC Construcción develops, through contracts with the Madrid City Council, actions in Valdegrulla and in the Valdesenderín area, in the Fuencarral-El Pardo district.
Other projects developed by FCC Construcción in the Metropolitan Forest and renaturation projects on a local scale, through contracts with the Madrid City Council:
- Metropolitan Forest Project km 41- Avda. del Talgo. Development of a 2-kilometer accessible promenade among native vegetation, which connects the commercial area of Pozuelo with the Cercanías station.
- Forest of Lost Embraces Project. Almost 2 kilometers of accessible walk between native vegetation.

Involvement in other online CSR environmental projects of FCC
FCC Construcción is currently executing the largest urban regeneration project in Chile: Parque Mapocho Rio. The first stretch of the Mapocho Rio urban park, one of the main urban parks being developed in the city of Santiago de Chile, was inaugurated a few years ago. months.
