FCC Construccion participates actively in the European project In2Rail. The demand by EU citizens for transport infrastructure will grow significantly in the next 20 years.

Therefore, European railways must offer greater productivity to meet the growing demand of users. In2Rail optimizes the design of railway infrastructures and improves the management of the railway system. All this is achieved through the application of three innovation projects: intelligent infrastructure; Intelligent Mobility Management (I2M); energy supply systems and energy management. These projects aim on the one hand to improve the existing transport capacity, increase the reliability of the European railway system and increase the competitiveness of the rail system and the associated industry.

FCC Construccion actively collaborates in the development of the project, as an executing company of international transport infrastructures.
