FCC Construcción and the Foundation College of Civil Engineers, have signed a collaboration agreement in activities of general interest.

The agreement includes the participation, dissemination and positioning of FCC Construcción activities in the various actions carried out by the Caminos Foundation:

• Participation in the V Engineering and Public Works Forum
• Invitation to the Sagasta Prize for Essay
• Invitation to the Aqueduct Award of Segovia
• Invitation to the Rafael Izquierdo Prize for Solidarity
• Invitation to awards for excellence
• Participation in development aid projects
• Positioning in publications and articles
• Activities of the think hub
• Participation in events with political, economic and social leaders
• Participation in actions in innovation and technology

With the signed agreement, FCC Construcción will be able to present its main projects, its experience and its capacity in the execution of large civil infrastructures. The construction area of the FCC Group has more than 115 years of experience, executes all types of civil works (bridges, railway works, roads, tunnels, airport infrastructures, ports), residential and non-residential buildings (sports facilities, hospitals) , universities as well as any type of singular buildings).

The company has built more than 700 kilometers of tunnels, 8,500 kilometers of roads and highways, 1,650 bridges, 2,600 kilometers of railways, of which 900 kilometers are high speed and 326 kilometers of subway, 48 dams, 4,500,000 square meters of airport runways, 2,300,000 square meters of airport terminals, 3,000 kilometers of gas pipelines and pipelines, 76 kilometers of docks, 10,500 kilometers of water pipes, 98 wastewater treatment plants.

The Caminos Foundation is a non-profit organization whose essential aims are the approach of the Engineering of Roads, Canals and Ports to the Spanish society, making known its values and its contribution to development and sustainability, promoting the values of excellence and global quality, as a means to achieve a better development of society, through how many actions are effective to achieve it and to raise awareness of the importance of the values of public works, land planning and urban planning, with special attention to the aspects of training, dissemination and study and the necessary protection of the environment and sustainability.
