FCC Construcción and Puertos del Estado have jointly participated in a conference on management of infrastructure maintenance, in which the "guide to repair concrete structures in the marine environment" was presented.

The day, convened by Puertos del Estado, was attended by Francisco Esteban, technical director in the Technical Services of FCC Construcción, as well as the assistance of the President of Puertos del Estado, along with more than 100 professionals from both port authorities and of other areas of port activity.

This initiative is framed within the impulse that the Public Organism has given to the treatment of the conditions of maintenance and conservation of its assets, reflected as the most relevant measure in the introduction of a level 1 objective in the business plans of the port authorities for the drafting and implementation during this exercise of a conservation management plan in all ports that make up the General Interest System.

The day was completed with the presentation of the "Guide to repair concrete structures in the marine environment", whose theme is directly related to the management of the conservation of port works. This document has been prepared by the working group created for this purpose within the Technical Association of Ports and Coasts (ATPYC). This association is configured as the national reference in technical aspects related to the engineering and port and coastal management, so the documents generated in this area are of maximum interest and direct application for the entire sector.
