FCC Industrial makes progress with the control buildings of the industrial facilities at Dublin Airport (Ireland)
FCC Industrial is progressing with the refurbishment of the industrial facilities at Dublin Airport. It recently completed the construction of a control building as part of the airport's future industrial refuelling facilities.
The scope of the EPC contract (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) covers the renovation of the fuel supply facilities for aircrafts and a hydrant system in Dublin Airport (Ireland) for the client CLH Aviación (a hydrocarbon logistics company). The contract is worth 33 million euros and is to be completed within 36 months.
The scope of the contract includes the construction of three double wall storage tanks, each with a capacity of 5,000 cubic metres, as well as their associated facilities.
The construction of a fuel loading platform for the airport tanks, the installation of an underground refuelling pipe network and hydrants close to the planes, the construction of fire protection facilities, and the demolition and dismantling of current facilities. In addition, new control buildings and auxiliary premises will also be built.
With this infrastructure, FCC Industrial will be able to improve the fuel supply capacity for planes at Dublin Airport.
