FCC Industrial secures new maintenance and electromechanical installation contracts worth over 1.8 million

The new contracts come from the company's line of business relating to facility and building maintenance, as well as industrial electromechanical installation works.

FCC Industrial secures new maintenance and electromechanical installation contracts worth over 1.8 million

Included among the new contracts is the maintenance of the Guardia Civil (Spanish National Police Force) Academy for a sum close to 800,000 euros and a timeframe of two years which could be extended for further two. The contract includes a comprehensive maintenance service for all facilities and buildings of the Guardia Civil school of Traffic Grouping. The buildings will include the student accommodation, the management and teaching complex, the garages and workshops, the indoor sports centre and housing for the teachers. FCC Industrial has experience in maintenance contracts that are currently still ongoing, such as: comprehensive maintenance of the Royal Theatre, comprehensive maintenance of the National Library, comprehensive maintenance of the Cervantes Institute.

Included among electromechanical installation contracts is the installation of a new air-conditioning system for the building of the Port Authority of Algeciras Bay.

In this contract, FCC Industrial will develop a “SMART PORT” comprehensive simulator, consisting of a simulation of port activity based on probabilistic methods for support in making decisions related to the management and planning of the port and its resources.

Another successful bid worth mentioning is the remodelling of the surgery unit at the Doctor Jose Molina Orosa Hospital in Las Palmas (Canary Islands). The new contract consists of implementing the civil works, electromechanical installations, fire detection and extinguishing installations and special installations (medicinal gases) in the room area of the general surgery unit. FCC Industrial has extensive experience in hospital works.
