FCC Industrial is recognised for equality practices
The Ministry of Health, Social Policy and Equality has awarded FCC Industrial e Infraestructuras Energéticas, S.A.U. the accolade "Equality in the Workplace". This mark of excellence acts as an incentive and gives recognition to companies committed to ensuring equality, which have implemented policies with this aim across all areas of the business.
In order to obtain this accolade, all of the following were assessed: the implementation criteria, the result of the measures contained within the equality plans, the procedures that were established and periodic evaluation criteria of these plans, the application of positive action measures which actively promote equal opportunities, aspects relating to the organisational model and the social responsibility of companies.
The equal opportunities and diversity policies are part of a strategy implemented by the Human Resources Department, which promote their workers' professional development and performance under the guarantee of equal opportunities and the promotion of effective equality.
This equality accolade for FCC Industrial is a continuation of the accolade FCC Construcción received in 2009 for the same. They were the first company in the sector to implement an equality plan.
