The congress in Madrid was attended by the main manufacturers of gensets, components and control systems as well as the main companies in the industrial sector covering the growth in Spain of power installations with their technology based on the hybridisation of traditional Diesel generators with photovoltaic solar power. In the power sector, this is a real and growing alternative due to the energy saving it guarantees in various sectors.

The programme included a series of technical talks, practical cases and notable projects using gensets as both the main source and as a power alternative.

FCC Industrial was represented in the “Experiences in installations with gensets” session by Nuria Gallego, Technical Director of Installations, Networks, Maintenance and Systems and Fernando Garzo Ortega, Head of the Installations, Networks and Systems Technical Department. The speech described the experience of FCC Industrial in installations such as the Riyadh metro, the Coatzacoalcos tunnel in Mexico, the Panama hospital complex and the Guzman and Villena thermo solar plants.
