FCC Industrial has been the protagonist in the report made by the news of TVE, about the control center of galleries and tunnels in Madrid. Its development has been attended by the Director General of urban spaces of the Madrid City Council, which has explained the operation of the control center of galleries and tunnels in the city of Madrid, which is located within the financial complex of Azca .
FCC Industrial, within the UTE Inmaes, develops the maintenance contract for urban facilities in Madrid, lot 3. The contract has a duration of 8 years and an amount of 226 million euros. Its scope is the maintenance of public lighting in the east arch of Madrid between M-30, N-I, N-IV and M-40, with 100,000 points of light, 1,050 dashboards; with more than 55,000 electronic ballasts replaced and 45,000 points of light changed by LED technology.
It also executes the maintenance and control of the network of underground service galleries in Madrid (more than 156 kilometers in length). It develops the installation in the control center of 520 cameras, 4,000 smoke and toxic gas detectors, 220 telematically controlled accesses and 260 SOS poles.
Finally, it maintains the traffic regulation elements of the east arch of Madrid between M-30, N-I, N-IV and M-40, over 500 regulated crossings. Including M30 variable signaling and camera control (CCTV): 220 cameras and 72 variable messaging panels.
