FCC Industrial has renewed and extended its framework contract for the Iberdrola distribution systems throughout Spain for July 2017 to June 2020, extendable for two years.

FCC Industrial renews and extends the Iberdrola distribution, metering and meter reading contract

By territories, in the Leon sector FCC Industrial has tripled the contracting for the entire province and in the Zamora sector it continues to be the sole contract in the province.

In the Benidorm sector, FCC Industrial remains the sole contract and in the Elche sector it enters the power distribution market with a contract in this sector for €7.5 million annually.

In the Toledo sector, FCC Industrial has become the sole contract in the province and in the Cuenca sector, it has entered this new market. In Castile La Mancha, FCC Industrial increases the contracting by €1.4 million. Finally, in Madrid, the company maintains its exclusive contracting in the Pozuelo – Villalba sector.

In the national distribution area, FCC Industrial has increased to 14 territorial distribution units compared to nine in the previous contract, thus becoming the second company nationally in number of areas adjudicated by Iberdrola. In addition, in all these sectors, FCC Industrial has increased the services offered to Iberdrola, contracting metering and meter reading as additional services.

FCC Industrial has wide experience in these types of power projects. Currently it is undertaking the contract to rehabilitate the distribution systems and improve the power metering systems for the state company CDEEE (Corporación Dominicana de Empresas Eléctricas Estatales) in the Dominican Republic. FCC Industrial also builds and maintains power systems for companies such as Endesa, Iberdrola and Gas Natural Fenosa as well as designing, sizing and building overhead and underground high and medium voltage power systems for various types of public and private clients.
