FCC nominated as “Preferred Bidder” in the bidding process for Grangegorman University Campus in Dublin

FCC has been nominated as Preferred Bidder in the contract for the design, construction, financing and maintenance of the DIT Campus at Grangegorman Central and East Quads PPP Project.

This project, driven by the Irish Ministry of Education & Skills through the National Development Finance Agency, the contracting entity for PPP projects, has an investment budget of 230 million euros and will be carried out by means of a consortium which is 50% composed of FCC and the British company John SISK & Son.

The project is an integral part of a development of educational, commercial, residential and health facilities to be built in this location.

It consists of the Design, Construction, Financing and Maintenance of two buildings: The Central Quad (CQ) and the East Quad (EQ), the total gross areas of which are 35,280 m2 and 16,964 m2, respectively.

The Central Quad, with a U shape layout, consists of a ground floor and is 5 storeys high, plus an additional floor of facilities, which is exterior on the east and west wings and interior on the north wing, which also includes a basement. The East Quad varies in height, with a ground floor and three levels in the far West point, and varying until reaching a ground floor and five levels in the far East point. Besides the buildings, landscaping and urban development works are also included within the scope of the work.
