These commitments, set forth in a single document, have been sent to the Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, thereby reinforcing a new Global Compact, which today represents a historic step.

The Paris Climate Change Summit was resolved by means of an agreement which, according to Ban Ki-Moon, paves an unprecedented path towards a low carbon economy. All countries worldwide working with the same outlook: limiting global warming to below 2º C and seeking to limit the temperature increase to 1.5º C.

Many representatives have been responsible for this agreement, particularly the governments present at the summit, without forgetting about the immense effort that was noted in Paris from absent entities and individuals who through their actions have propelled the global movement #ForTheClimate.
