FCC has repeated the fifth position compared to the edition of the previous year, in the Merco Empresas y Lideres España 2023 index.

Merco, is the reference monitor for its ethical commitments and its methodology, has presented the 100 companies and the 100 leaders with the best reputation of 2023. These rankings are the result of an exhaustive and detailed analysis of more than 53,781 surveys, 7 evaluations and 26 sources of information. The business monitor is verified through an independent review by KPMG, in accordance with the ISAE 3000 standard, which endorses its rigor and ethical commitment. In a continuous advance and methodological adaptation, this year all the samples of the different stakeholders have increased.

Thus, the 23rd edition has had the participation of 1,153 executives of large companies, 813 experts from the business world (82 Dircoms and opinion leaders, 84 economic information journalists, 88 members of government, 94 professors from the business area, 90 analysts managers, 92 social media managers, 107 heads of NGOs, 89 unions and 87 heads of consumer associations) 400 heads of SMEs, 43,331 Merco Talento participants (workers, university students, former students of business schools, university professors and business schools, human resources managers, expert headhunters, union members and citizens) and 8,002 citizens (Merco Sociedad). Together with these evaluations, an analysis is also carried out in the digital field of companies (Merco Digital) and a benchmarking of objective indicators that include the main sections of the companies.
