The HUBarcelona-FCC scholarship panel, created after signing the agreement between FCC and Barcelona City Council in March 2014, will meet on 6 May to make the final decision on the successful candidates for each of the 5 scholarships aimed at university graduates in Catalonia who would like to further their studies in relation to the smart city strategy.

The HUBarcelona scholarships were created to broaden and deepen FCC's public-private partnership with Barcelona in the field of smart cities. FCC has made a total investment of 250,000 euro for this purpose, 50,000 for each of the 5 scholarships awarded.

Meanwhile, Barcelona City Council will set up a tutoring or follow-up system to monitor the training activities carried out by those awarded the scholarships, as well as managing the whole process. There is a possibility that the recipients of the scholarships can apply to and consolidate their knowledge in projects of interest for the city.
