Future Valleys organizes the contest "Name the Gritter"

Future Valleys, the consortium that designs and executes the A465 project in Wales (United Kingdom), launched the "Name the Gritter" contest, with the aim of getting primary school children to draw their favorite machines.

The prize consisted of the machinery visiting the winning schools, school in Merthyr Tydfil and Rhondda Cynon Taf. James Lawton, Restricted Services Manager for Future Valleys Construction, was tasked with choosing the winning names and, from all the nominations, he selected Thor and Frosty.

On Wednesday, October 26, 2022, Caedraw Primary School in Merthyr Tydfil was visited, where the winner Livvie received a certificate of participation. The next day the visit to Abernant Elementary School took place. On this occasion, the winner Rafi received her diploma at the school assembly.

These types of actions are key to integrating the company's activities with the local community.
