Award for Metro line 9, Zona Universitaria - T1 Aeropuerto section in Barcelona

The Zona Universitaria - T1 Aeropuerto section of line 9 of the Barcelona Metro was a finalist in the 2017 Infrastructure Prize awarded by the Infrastructures Advisory Council in Catalonia. The prizes were handed out on 13 June in “la Nit de les Infraestructures.”

The FCC project is one of the most relevant projects in recent years by the Catalonia Branch.

The prize for the best infrastructure went to the extension of the Vallès Metro in Sabadell, with the putting into service of a section of 1.5 km and the new Can Feu-Gracia and Sabadell Plaza Mayor stations.
