The works of the Port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, executed by FCC Industrial, receives the visit of the person in charge of European Funds and of the port authority
FCC Industrial develops the electrical installation for supply to vessels on the Ribera I docks and on the Anaga dock of the Port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The project was visited by the person in charge of the European OPS Master Plan Funds and by different technicians from the Port Authority of Tenerife.
The project developed by FCC Industrial and called "OPS Master Plan for Spanish Ports" has as its objective the drafting of a Master Plan for the supply of electric power to ships at berth in Spanish ports, providing the springs with electro-mechanical elements necessary for the supply of electricity to ships in several Spanish ports of general interest.
In addition, several vessels will be adapted to be able to connect to the general electrical network. The project includes carrying out studies on regulations, technical and environmental impact to identify existing barriers and propose appropriate measures.
The "OPS Master Plan for Spanish Ports" project is part of the National Action Framework for the development of infrastructures for the use of alternative fuels in the transport sector: in compliance with article 13 of Directive 2014/94 / EU. And it is co-financed by the Connecting Europe Facility - CEF program for the construction of the European Union's RET-T.
