The construction area of the FCC Group, through its CFO, Maria Carrasco, has participated in the SDG Investment Forum held in Oslo (Norway). The SDG Investment Forum has been designed to connect investors seeking to align with the Sustainable Development Goals, for responsible business and investment opportunities around the world. 

These forums are an opportunity for CFOs, sustainability experts and investors to exchange views on how investment and corporate finance can best contribute to SDGs. This event has focused on investments and financing towards the SDGs by the European members of the CFO Coalition for the SDGs, and also addressed the new regulations and taxonomy of the EU.

The event began with the opening of the Norwegian market, at the Oslo Stock Exchange. The opening of the market was carried out by all the CFOs of the CFO Coalition for the SDGs as well as by the CEO of the United Nations Global Compact, Sanda Ojiambo.

Maria Carrasco participated moderating the round table "The Role of Financial Institutions in fostering Sustainable Finance", where the CFO of the FCC Group's construction area exposed the transforming capacity of institutions to be a lever of change for sustainable finance.

FCC Construcción is a pioneer company in sustainability. It was the first international company in the construction sector to join the CFO Coalition for the SDGs and the first Spanish company to join this key United Nations group.
