Matinsa secures contract for the operation and maintenance of the A-58 over the course of 4 years, for € 7 million

The contract entails "carrying out varied operation and maintenance works on the A-58 motorway between Trujillo and Cáceres, between kilometric points 0.000 and 45.527, and on the N-521 conventional road from Trujillo to Portugal through Valencia de Alcántara, between kilometric points 0.000 and 152.170 and its residual sections, in the province of Cáceres".

On the A-58 there are 22 overpasses, 14 underpasses, 8 interchanges and 3 notable structures:

  • An interchange at a different level on the urban section of Cáceres at kilometric point 43+500.
  • A railway overpass at kilometric point 50+000.
  • A structure at kilometric point 72+736 on the River Salor.

Additionally, it is worth noting that the sector has a COEX Centre extremely close to the city of Cáceres, which was recently renovated and expanded by Matinsa in the former contract.
