Matinsa, through its person in charge in the Canary Islands, Estefania Rodriguez, has participated in the event organized by the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, “Woman and Engineering”. An event that brought together different engineers graduated from the University: Silvia Crespo Cabrera from the company Binter; Selenia Espino of the Mercedes-Benz AG automotive group; María José Marichal Villalba from RED ELECTRICA DE ESPANA. ; Sara Nuez Ortega, belonging to the Technology and Investors Base; Mª Ángeles from the Emerge entity and Maria del Pino Pérez Marrero from the Gran Canaria Island Water Council.

At the conference, held at the School of Industrial and Civil Engineering, they were able to share their experience and their commitment as women in the engineering sector. Estefania highlighted Matinsa's Equality Plan as well as her commitment to excellence and her passion for civil engineering as examples to follow for our young engineers.
