Pablo Colio, CEO of the FCC Group has participated in the discussion forum on “construction industry: employment, digitalization, occupational health and safety and sustainability” organized by the AGFITEL Foundation.

The meeting has convened different public and private personalities, among which, in addition to the FCC Group CEO, ACS Group CEO, president of AGFITEL (general secretary of UGT-FICA) as well as the Minister of Economy and Finance of the Junta de Castilla y León, and the mayor of Segovia.

The meeting has reflected the main challenges that the construction sector in Spain must address, the maintenance of quality employment, the incorporation of young people, digitalization, safety at work and sustainability. The stigma of the sector was also affected as a result of the economic crisis, being a sector unfairly blamed as a generator of the crisis.

Finally, Pablo Colio, addressed the great challenges that the sector must address: digitalization, the training of workers, making construction a more attractive economic pillar for young people.
