Students from the European University have visited the facilities of the FCC Construcción Machinery Park in Madrid.
On this occasion, it was the Department of Civil Engineering of the School of Architecture, Engineering and Design of this University, which, within its annual program of visits to works in progress, got to know the facilities of the company's Machinery Park up close.
The students have been able to verify the maintenance and operation of the machinery and auxiliary means of the company. They saw the different special strategic machines (tunnel boring machines, self-launching falsework, floating docks, blondines, track machinery, etc.) as well as other more common equipment (aggregate, agglomerate and concrete plants, pavers, tower cranes, auxiliary means, etc. .).
The Europa University aims to promote teaching methodologies that favor the contact of its students with the labor reality, with the companies of each sector and, in the specific case of the Department of Civil Engineering, with the works, promoting the development of skills and abilities that, together with the theoretical knowledge of the different areas, generates a student body prepared to face different work challenges and to enter the labor market immediately.
