The video on the enlargement of the northern access to Santiago on the Santiago Los Vilos motorway is now available on FCC Construcción’s YouTube channel. This was a strategic project for the country since it involved building 15 kilometres of urban motorway on Route 5 North running from the Quilicura junction to Lampa.

The project started in the second quarter of 2015 with a budget of €185 million and involved widening the road to four lanes in each direction and three lines per direction on the service road.

The infrastructure developed by FCC improves driving conditions for 18 million vehicles a year, saving driving time, improving the safety of the road for users and improving connectivity between nearby localities.
