To coincide with FCC's participation in the Infraportos International Conference on 7 and 9 April in Sao Paulo (Brazil), several interviews with FCC Construcción professionals took place; namely with Antonio Piqueras, project manager, and Francisco Esteban, technical director of FCC Construcción; testimonies of whom are included in the video.

According to Antonio Piqueras, the project has been such a challenge for the company from a technical and logistics point of view but it is one that we have managed to overcome thanks to the implementation of structural technology in the form of the floating dock. Meanwhile, Francisco Esteban Lefler, technical director of FCC Construcción, sustains that a fundamental challenge has been tackled: providing cover for deep-draft vessels that helped cut costs.

The Port of Açu in Brazil, where FCC Construcción carried out works, is one of the most important worldwide. Açu will be the third biggest port worldwide and the biggest in America with a capacity to sustain 350 million tonnes per year. The project, without doubt, has opened FCC's doors to this geographical area and helps reinforce its internationalisation.

The liquefied natural gas storage tank at the Port of Pöri, located on the west coast of Finland and built by FCC Industrial, has a storage capacity of 30,000 m3 and will be ready to operation in the last quarter of 2016.

The implementation of the project will create close to 250 full-time jobs and, once completed, around a dozen people will work directly in the new terminal and close to another fifty will work in close connection in jobs related to its activity.
