To the entire FCC team

As you are aware, thanks to the negotiations conducted by my mother, Esther Koplowitz, and her commitment to the future of FCC, we have reached an agreement with the Mexican group Control Empresarial de Capitales S.A de CV, through which its proprietor and president, Carlos Slim, will become our principal shareholder.

Thanks to this agreement, which facilitates the capital increase that the group requires, we will be able to continue with the growth strategy that we have designed.

I wish to publicly thank Carlos Slim and his family for the confidence that they have shown in Spain, FCC and its workers, of whom we are especially proud.

We commence a new phase in which the implication and commitment of everyone is essential.

Implication and commitment which are, and continue to be, part of the soul of our company.
