Esther Alcocer Koplowitz, Chairman of FCC, wrote a farewell letter to Juan Castells Masana, who had been with the group for 47 years, first as an employee and executive and then as a member of the Board of Directors, until his resignation on 8 October.

Dear Juan:

It is difficult to say goodbye to someone who has been a committed and loyal member of Group for such a long time. You will be missed at Board meetings of FCC and Portland Valderrivas, where you were an exceptional director.

All of us at FCC Group and especially my mother, Esther Koplowitz, with whom you have worked loyally for so long would like to express our gratitude for your exemplary career. This will always be your home, and we will continue to work with the honesty, determination, commitment and consummate expertise that you demonstrated every single day.
