Cemusa participates in Earth Hour

Cemusa has partnered once again with World Wildlife Fund (WWF), providing space on over 4,500 bus shelters and news-stands in Spain to advertise the largest environmental protection campaign in history, scheduled for Saturday, 26 March.

Earth Hour is just a few hours away, and almost 1,500 cities worldwide, including 100 in Spain, are set to participate in the campaign. Tomorrow at 8.30 pm, lights will be switched off all over the world—a symbolic gesture in the fight against climate change.

Earth Hour aims to involve governments, communities and businesses in a joint effort to call attention to the effects of global warming and demand that political leaders take action to control CO2 emissions.

FCC has identified the fight against climate change as a priority line of action in its corporate social responsibility master plan.

As a citizen services group, FCC is willing to make commitments to environmental responsibility and to promote initiatives which reduce the environmental impact of its activities.
