FCC employees run in the Heart Race

The Sociedad Española de Cardiología and the Fundación Española del Corazón organised the eighth Heart Race in Madrid last Saturday. FCC acquired 100 numbers so that its employees could take part in this popular race which transmits values of solidarity, companionship and sport to the organisations. For a further year, the participation of FCC employees was a success and did not fail this important sporting occasion.

This event involve the participation of more than 4,000 runners to promote physical exercise to achieve better cardiovascular health.

The objective of this race is to promote the practice of physical activity among the population from the smallest to the eldest and to enjoy a festive and family day in which sport takes the leading role, including the importance of acquiring healthy living standards to improve a person's physical condition.

The funds collected in this race are destined to promoting cardiovascular research and generating campaigns to educate good healthy habits.
