Esther Alcocer Koplowitz at the reception of the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohamed bin Salman
The president of FCC, Esther Alcocer Koplowitz, attended the lunch offered by the King and Queen of Spain in honour of the crown prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohamed bin Salman, who visited Spain to discuss his country’s plans and main projects.
Before lunch, the traditional royal audience took place in the Teniers salon, where King Felipe, Letizia and the Saudi prince received the greeting of Esther Alcocer Koplowitz. Representatives of leading companies and members of the Spanish government, amongst other personalities, were also present.
FCC in Saudi Arabia
FCC is building the Riyadh Underground in Saudi Arabia. The project includes the design and construction of lines 4 (yellow), 5 (green) and 6 (purple). Their 25 stations will require 64.6 kilometres of subway tracks, 29.8 kilometres of viaducts, 26.6 kilometres of underground roads and 8.2 kilometres of surface roads. In addition, through Aqualia, the subsidiary specialist in integrated water management, a project is being developed to optimize the city’s water supply network, which is more than 6,000 kilometres in length. The company is also carrying out the administration of the services affected by the capital’s underground works and the operation and maintenance of the Hadda and Arana treatment plants in the city of Mecca.
