Esther Koplowitz, majority shareholder and first vice-chairman of FCC, and her daughter Esther Alcocer Koplowitz, chairman of FCC, attended the reception yesterday at the Royal Palace in honour of Felipe VI's coronation as King of Spain.
The receiving line lasted for two hours, during which time the King and Queen received some 3,000 guests, among them members of political parties and official institutions, diplomats, members of the aristocracy and the business community, trade unionists, and personalities from culture, the arts, the sciences, sports and society, among others.
The Royal Palace reception was the highlight of the series of events organised as part of Felipe VI's coronation. After being sworn in by Parliament, Felipe VI and Queen Letizia went to the Royal Palace where, from the balcony, they greeted thousands of people below in Plaza Oriente square.
King Juan Carlos, Queen Sofia, and Felipe and Letizia's daughters, Leonor, Princess of Asturias, and Sofia, also waved from the balcony.
