Successful 1st edition of Workplace Safety Awards

The 1st FCC Workplace Safety Awards were held in December, the goal of which was to recognise employees' efforts to improve health and safety at FCC.

The result of the call has been excellent, with a participation of over twenty candidates spread between the three proposals.

Successful 1st edition of Workplace Safety Awards

Safety Management Award: Candidates included business units and subcontractors with an outstanding approach to safety and proven results in this area.

Honourable Mention for Technical Innovation: This category included the largest number of candidates from a wide and diverse range, from safety management software; novel and practical equipment and tools to improve safety and comfort at work; facilities focused on safety, health and the environment; collective safety and fire safety measures; and projects related to workers' health and quality of life.

Honourable Mention for Personal Track Record: Although this category received the fewest proposals, it demonstrates that FCC has employees who are wholly committed to safety and whose colleagues feel that they deserve recognition.
